five things i learned


1) leads need too focus on the future and most important new info.

2)leads summarize 5 W's and H that starts off with the most important.

3) rarely use who, when and where leads

4)direct quotes elaborate on the paragraph before them.

5)direct quotes should not repeat the transition or lead before them.

If i caught my friend plagiarizing i would first tell him/her i can't publish it even if they beg because on it copyrighted. I would tell them to rewrite it or not get the story at all. Before I would first check to find the article is not theirs by typing it in the computer most times you find it if you type its content. if I find the article they copied i would tell them to write a new one or not at all. As a punishment if i found out later would be at the school level would be a small suspension for getting the school sued and if not caught then lucky you.
